this little boy is so much like his daddy

i have a 2 years old toddler who happens to inherit his daddy's passion for cars. everything about cars fascinates him, a car workshop, a formula car, a drift car and rally cars. even a toy tool set can keep him entertain for hours, he loves pretending he's part of a racing team. a service crew or a driver like his daddy.

when we were in the toy shop the other day, he got all excited when he saw a Recaro Start booster car seat in red. he said that is his daddy's rally car seat, i must say it looks familiar. he never likes the idea of being strapped to a baby car seat, so it's a surprise he wants me to get him a Recaro priced at $349.90.

it's been like this since he was very little, he's never into power rangers, superman, swords or guns like other kids. he only wants me to buy his toy cars of all sort. i won't be surprise if in the near future, he wants daddy to buy him a go-cart so he can go track racing. he is just like his daddy, only a little more handsome.

tomorrow is a brand new year

Today is the last day of the year. i would like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year. May this comin new year be filled with all that you wished for. prosperity and blessin comes pourin at your doorstep.

it's been another wonderful year for me, and i pray that next year will be better. God bless everyone.

loving the green grass over there

one thing people from my country loves to do is to migrate overseas especially to Australia. like the grass is greener on the other side of the world. but truly, with the nice weather you get there, the grass is indeed much greener. well, these rich people travels around the world many times a year, spend their kids mid term school holidays abroad for weeks or maybe months, they can afford to stay in any Gold Coast Hotels they love, settle for nothing lesser than 5 stars hotel.

when these people retires, most of them will consider migrating to places like Gold Coast and Noosa because life there is much simplier, everyone's life is nice and easy. forget the hustle and bustle of the crazy metropolitan like Kuala Lumpur. even driving around Australia is so stress free. no road bullies and no one beats the red light. as our local driving license allows us to drive in Australia, most tourist will rent a car and drive around by themselves.

No wonder every holiday season, hotels in Australia are always fully booked, especially for places of tourist attractions such as Cairns Hotels and Noosa Hotels.

the little cat in me

it's been 3 days and hubs is still in bkk. i don't know if i'm just bein paranoid or what, but i hate to sleep alone at night. my little boy sleeps right next to me and though i held him very close to me, it isn't the same as havin hubs.

let's get this clear, i'm a scary cat! everytime hubs is away, i don't get good sleep, i wake up to the slightest sound, the dog's barkin or the zoomin cars in the middle of the night. i must make sure i locked my door and double check it. i'm not afraid of ghost, but i am so scared of burglars.
cannot wait for hubs to be home tomorrow.

my 2008 christmas wish list

you see, exchangin pressies is not a tradition in my family, so none of us get any. that may sound like a sad christmas to you isn't it? but no, we're totally fine with it. there's no point in gettin pressie we don't like or appreciate. no one fancy getting a Spring handbag when everyone is after a designer's handbag like Prada and Calvin Klein right? so why spend whole lot of money on gifts people don't like?

i don't really mind buying and receiving presents if we get to make our very own christmas wish list, not those to mr. santa, but to our family member, and we'll pick a present to buy for each other, something we'll surely like. i was dreaming that hubs could buy me a Mac Notebook so both of us don't have to fight over a desktop computer. I did a price comparison search on the internet, the price is incredibly low at $579.00. Should have given him my christmas list, i know our little boy would love the Disney Pixar Lightning McQueen Phone.

lazy bug ran me over!

happy holiday to ya all.. with christmas comes new year, let's all hope for a better year ahead.
i don't know what got into me, i just didn't feel like bloggin. well, i used to hate it when people blame their laziness on the year-end bug, there isn't such a thing! you're just plain lazy for goodness sake. be a man and admit it.

but now, here i am, in such a good holiday mood, i almost wished my blog never exist. ayeee... not a good thing to say, but i'm just speakin from my heart. how's ya christmas? we stayed at home and mom prepared us a very nice lunch, nasi lemak, chicken rice and singapore laksa. delicious. that's the thing about my family, celebration is all about us all gathered together to feast. forget the pressie..

from rags to riches

how often do you walk into a bank applying for a home loan and got rejected right in your face? or the times when your credit card application got rejected one after another, all this just because you had a previous bad credit record. at times, people do make it from rags to riches. in some cases, they became billionaires like hong kong tycoon, Li Ka Shing. but the thing with financial institution is, they already had your name listed in RED. so tell me why is it called BLACKlist when you're a perfect candidate for bad credit?

so, that's how the poor becomes poorer and the rich becomes billionaire. when no one is willing to help the poorer ones, how on earth do these people get back on their feets? Li Ka Shing himself, a self made billionaire, was a school dropout at the age of 15, worked in a factory before striking it big, thanks to bad credit offers company who took a chance on him, gave him a loan to kick start his business.

so before you take another step into the bank, it's wise to look up for different offers by bad credit companies. make sure to pick one that suits your need best, preferably the one that offers the lowest installment rate so pay back with not be a huge financial burden on you.

aeo canvas tote

i just missed a great buy. my cousin who is in new york sent me a mms askin if i want this bag. and guess the mms is still travellin across the sea to get to me. i didn't get it. sigh. this American Eagle Outfitters Sparkle Canvas Tote avaible in fuschia pink and energy yellow was $29.95, sellin for $19.95 online. and she told me it's $6.95!

well, canvas tote is so freakin cheap, not exactly the classy bag. but casual suits me fine, a stay at home mom could do with an extra baby bag right. i just missed it.

my mobile charges hits the roof!

i'm 780 ringgit poorer today. you know why? i paid my mobile phone bill today after i got a text message saying my calls will be barred in 24 hours. that's the thing about not getting my bill in the post, i opted for the e-statement on the internet so to save 5 ringgit a month. but the thing is i never check my bill online either.

surprise, surprise, the last payment was 3 months ago. i cannot believe i made so many calls in 3 months, at an average of 260 ringgit a month. that doesn't include the other mobile i have. it must be the time when i was in Perth, i called home to check on hubs many many times a day. remember he was sick with pneumonia? Long Distance Phone Rates cost an arm and a leg, more over i was on roaming rates too. should have use the Internet Phone Service instead, it's much affordable, given that you make calls with your prepaid credits so you will never go overboard like me.

But nothing beats the VoiP phone system that gives excellent quality of transmission and very cheap. with the Unlimited Long Distance Calling Plan, call anywhere in the world and chat as long as you like, for the credit never runs out. how cool eh. too bad, i'm still 780 ringgit poorer today. sigh.

get a degree without spending a fortune

my mom always tell me this. different people, different life. some are born pretty, some are not. some are born with privilege, like a prince who will one day claim the title as a king while some are born in poverty, suffering in hunger to death. some are born without limbs, while some perfectly normal people couldn't care less to work, they rob, they rather beg to live on. .

mommy also tells us to be always thankful for what we have. the food on the table and nice clothes to wear. we're a bunch of lucky kids as our family can afford to send us to further our studies in U.K. only a handful of my college friends made it overseas. others are too poor to pursue their degree overseas so they got to settle for a local college degree.

how things have changed. more and more people opted to get their degree from online university like capella university. they offer a range of degree programs not only to full time students. imagine studying from the comfort of your own home, forget homesick when you're away from your family for many many months. get a degree from a prestigious university without having to spend a fortune to study abroad.

black eyes or eye bags?

i honestly cannot remember the last time i went to bed at 9 or 10pm? it's been forever. i don't know which is worse, having eye bags or black eyes? i didn't like both, but too bad, i've got them already. do you have any idea how i could get rid of those, or maybe minimize it? yeah ..yeah...go to bed early. i heard you. but night time is the best time to blog. seriously.

you know when you have a two years old toddler who keeps comin to sit on your lap, and you go, "please, mommy need to work"..and he went, "i also want to work work". so when he's asleep, i got total peace. and i'm love each minute of it :)

no one beats me on this

i am the world's worst person when it comes to having a common sense of direction. let's see, my 5 year old nephew probably can lead us the way to the twin towers without any missed turns or wrong street. me? i'll have to travel to the same place at least 5 times for me to figure out the right way there. and maybe on the 6th time, i'll get my direction right.

so that basically explained why when we were in perth, my brothers and sisters drove all the time. but not once i was behind the wheels. nobody wants to risk getting lost in a foreign land you see. can't blame anyone but my lack of observation and concentration.

you know, i have a folder in my pc i keep a list of maps around town. i searched the maps online and save it to study it. i don't like the idea of buying map books off the bookshelf because it is not always up to date. i rather have the updated latest maps i searched online and get it printed by a map printing services . it might cost a little more, but it beats getting round in circles at the roundabout in the middle of nowhere isn't it?

she married her fish at a beach

so, angel's big fish proposed and they decided to get married. not in mainland china, she wanted a beach wedding. like those glamourous Kauai vacation rentals weddings you see in the magazine. admit it. you dreamt of those. and angel gets to live it. a wedding at the sandy white beach, where you fly in all your family, friends and relative to witness you say 'i do'. nevermind that you're in a foreign land, Hawaiian vacation information is there to assist your every need. yes. dream on.

but angel chose to get married in langkawi, one of the most beautiful island in malaysia. but still, it cost a bomb to fly elsewhere and get married, right? i didn't attend the wedding, i wasn't invited. i saw her a day before the wedding, and she's still skinny.

i think the reason she didn't choose to fly to get married in hawaii because she being a true breed chinese, couldn't speak english. so, i can imagine she'll have a tough time conversing with her wedding planner at the Oahu vacation rentals. what a waste. else, she'll truly be living a true fairytale princess wedding.

the exceptionally mean angel

some people are just born lucky. some worked hard to get what they want. some worked hard but still they cannot get what they want. so if you're thinking equal treatment, such thing doesn't exist. if you gain something, you lose something. i'm all too familiar with this gaining and losing it scene. money and fame. also my own weight.

if you're rich, please just don't find a way to insult me just because i'm not as thin as you are. i can be pissed at you if i want to. if you think i looked as if i don't mind your too honest opinion, know well that i'm hatin you inside me.

angel, a friend from china, i met her for the first time two years ago. for goodness sake, i was there to entertain her just because my sister, she wasn't free to take her to the mall. first she insulted the mall as outdated. i'm fine with that. say whatever you want to say if it makes you feel proud of your once-so-ulu china.

she was skinny, i was a fat momma. please excuse me missy angel, i just gave birth 3 months ago but she victimised me. there, this skinny devil kept tellin me how she would allocate a huge amount of money to get her body back after she gave birth. by all means, you can opt to go under the knife, get a tummy tuck, liposuction, diet pills, personal trainer for all i care. you're just a lucky bastard you have a filthy rich boyfriend to back you up. she indirectly insulted me over and over again and kept telling me she hates to be fat.
hello! i'd love to be a size zero too.

so why do you think i'm bringin this angel story up? she got lucky and caught a humongous fish. she even got him wrapped around her fingers. last week, they got married.

i'm not finished..come back!

i know i'm fat, but you.. yes you. back off..

i must be really fat. else, why would hubs friend's wife, someone i met but never talk to wants me to call her? she passed hubby a name card and well...apparently she has a website that links to an 'eherbal' company that sells freakin expensive diet pills. i did a search and honestly, i'm havin second thoughts on callin her. i don't know what product can cost 1600 ringgit and guarantee that i lose weight. i doubt it.

i think the problem lies with me. i am such a lazy ass who loves to eat. not a very good combo right. but that IS me. back off if you're tryin to remind me that i'm very fat. i know i know.
it's not like i don't know joggin 5 miles 3 times a week can make me thinner. i just lack willpower. i'm that lazy when it comes to exercise.

i really do not have 1600 to splash on whatever that you might claim works. i have a long list of things that i wish to own, so i rather be fat for now and buy myself a nikon D40. the things is, do you really think that she's really worried that i'm getting more and more unpleasant lookin? no! she's just tryin to make some money of me. or my hubs. i could spare a couple of hundreds, but 1600 is way too much. oh, did i mention the entire range cost more than 3000ringgit?

a tough choice to make

poor little brother of mine. i've been thinking a lot of him today. after that conversation we had with him last night, we can almost hear him tearing apart. this is the second year he's in Australia, he completed his degree and he chose to further his studies so that he could apply for the Australian PR. but of late, everything that once seems so important is suddenly pointless. he wanted to stay close to us, his family. he sounds quite depressed.

my sister even asked him to pack his bags and come home. forget about finishing what he's after, dump the mcDonaold's job and take the next flight home. forget about the Australian PR thingy. we just want to make sure he's alright.

he could start a new life back home, go to work and stay close to us. probably he could continue his studies if he wants to. there are plenty of online university that offers a wide range of degrees to choose from. capella university is a good place to start. but the decision is still for him to make. in the end, all this hard times will only make him a stronger and better person.

how i wish my life is different, not!

which is harder? get a life or get a job. for me, i think i'm off the market. you see, i never had a decent job since i graduated 6 years back. at 27 now, who's willing to hire a mommy with zero experience and pay her lotsa of bread and butter? the thing is, no one loves a rusty fresh graduate. like me.

sigh.

sometimes, i wonder if i can be half as good as my twin sis. i envied her all the time, she's flyin high on both her job and financially.. sometimes, words that comes out from her once-so-simple mouth suddenly sounds like freaky jargons to me. see, i'm in deep shit lack of exposure.

if it wasn't because i started blogging a year back, i think my IQ level would have dropped at least 70%. i wasn't a very bright person to begin with. oh again, deep shit.

despite everythin, i will not trade any of it for the life i now have. spendin my entire day with my little boy and on the pc, take nap whenever i feel like it, go shoppin anytime and most important, i have a wonderful family i have the honour of takin care of. isn't that the greatest job on earth. well, besides the pay.

now, who need wife swap? i don't.

December 18, 2007

boy, get yourself a break, can?

it's never nice hearing that someone you love is not feeling very well isn't it? my brother, who's studying in perth is not sick, he's just too tired of his student life, juggling time between two odd jobs as a full time student. sigh. we were on instant messaging when he mentioned that he's kind of depressed. to cut the long story short, it all comes down to money.

he's a very independent boy and he never asked for money back home. he's the kind of person who would rather go for Student Loan Consolidation than to call home for instant cash. so we always thought he can manage it himself. but hearing that he's overworked himself just to pay his bills, all this is just too much to bear. aha, Student Loan Consolidation suddenly sounds like a good idea too, if he likes my suggestion.

waking up at 5.30am in the morning to work at Mcdonald's morning shift, serving mc eggs and hash brown when the rest of the world is still sleeping, i'm not sure i'm up to that challenge. well, those days when i was a student, i used to work too. that was because there isn't such a thing as Private Student Loans, else i know i rather not work. .

we sisters back home were telling him to quit one of his job, and get a life. go out and enjoy what a student should be enjoying. living a stress free student life, but what did he said? going out to social needs money. just to let you know brother, we're here if you need our help. anytime.

when our broadband is not even broad

i know.. i know.

everyone is getting very sick over our local broadband provider and endless amount of complaints still doesn't make things any better. especially for bloggers for those who's trying to make some money writing reviews like me, time and broadband speed is very crucial. you know how you missed many opportunities just because your broadband is so lame and it takes forever to load a page. when finally when it did, all you read is "all post has been taken". what a bummer , eh?

how i wish we have BT broadband here. Just imagine for the same price that we're paying here, all BT users get 8GB monthly download allowance, 5GB FREE secure online storage with BT Digital Vault, free cheap phone calls, free subscription to tv on demand by BT vision and most importantly a fast, reliable connection, up to 8Mb download speeds.

what do we get here is plain shit. it's not even up to the par with BT
cheap broadband of only 8pound 95p per month. now, how i wish our brandband is half as decent as BT broadband. at least when they promised 24/7 customer support, they meant round the clock.

if you want to get me a car, get me...

what i love most about my car is that it is big and tough, yet comfortable and not so expensive. hubs used to own a range rover when i first date him, he let me drives it all the time. me, being a shorty that i am, loves the view i get from my driver's seat. almost like a bird's view. fits me perfectly. when hubs sold it a few years later, i drove many other cars but none of it beats the security i get from driving a range rover, not even s-class. booo..

hubs must have noted what i said, that i still loves my range rover best, he got me another one. not a brand new, as it is very expensive. my dark green car serves as a truck when i need to shop for huge furniture pieces from ikea, a bus when i need to get many people to one place at one time, and best of all, even my 2 year old boy has no problem getting in the car himself, thanks to the world class nerf bar. best of all, it is one of the safest cars on the road. that to me is very important, given that i always drive my little boy around.

converse! for my little one

the last time my great u.s buddy came home to malaysia, he bought my little boy a pair of combat color converse shoes. it was cool. but his feet seems to grow overnight every night, he wore that shoe maybe less than 5 times. it's still as good as a brand new. what a waste.

my buddy will be comin back here again, i might want to ask her get these blue Converse® All Star® applique hi-tops for my little boy, probably 2-3 size bigger. that way, he can wears it for a longer period of time.

i'm lovin subang parade

i thought i said to myself that i'm not goin to shop anymore this weekend but somehow we ended up in subang parade this evening. now that it is nearin christmas, living quarters christmas sales has already started. i bought the christmas light a couple of weeks back for 10.90 each, and now it's on 70 percent off. wtf? i bought 5 which costed me 54.50. i was fumin and puffin with disbelief.

well, there's nothin i can do anymore right. so i bought another 5. you see, this is the thing about shopaholic. they buy things they don't need. i might need it in the future. i'll keep it first. familiar with those lines?? i bet you are.

5 sets of light cost me only 16.35. i also bought an alarm clock that rings as loud as the school bell for my almost deaf maid. she need this loud clock, else chances of her not wakin up when her alarm ring is very high. she sleeps like a dead person. the new alarm is15 after 50% discount.
i got such a steal at f.o.s. i bought two pairs of dkny khaki shorts for my sis and i for only 59.90. i love it.

i'm born a creative shopaholic

my shopping trip to the mall will never be complete without going to the home and living store. decorating is my passion, i can easily spend an hour in the store browsing through the bowls and plates, rugs and cushions, bed linens and such. now that it's nearing christmas, there are plenty more to shop for. the decoratives items, ornaments, christmas trees, lightings, oh, all too many.

if i'm not out at the mall, i'll window shop on the internet browsing through the catalogue. online store is such a good place to find great buy and some, really exclusive decorative items. take this candelabra, i found it at shopwiki selling for 29.90. dirt cheap right? i love the design very much, this is what i call a timeless piece, it will never goes out of style, no matter how long you have it displayed in your living room.

another great thing i found is this libbey glass jar for only 12.10 per dozen. i've always like this when i saw it in some cafes. maybe getting this for my home will be great.

daddy thinks i'm pregnant but i'm just gettting fatter

my dad came the other day and asked if i am pregnant. yucks, he saw my buldging tummy and the fact that i'm not pregnant, makes me wonder why by eating so little didn't seems to make my flabby tummy go away.

as far as i'm concern, diet pills, drinking endless amount of diet tea that cost me many sleepless nights, horse-riding u papa exercise machine does not work. i tried diet pills, lose some weight, but ended up gaining it all back. so how?

maybe i should try the magnetic diet weight loss program and start burning all the calories off as it claims. it works by learning how to get the right food combination to create invigorating magnetism. it sounds so easy by helping you lose your cravings, build muscle and burn fats. this is worth a try, for the sake of getting back my flat tummy.

kate spade nylon tote

got to love this renwick nylon tote and cosmetic bag from kate spade. and love the price too. at only 63 dollars, it's such a steal. nothing too formal, i like. it's huge too, just what i love about bags. so i can dump everything i need inside. 2 mobile phones, one camera, one wristlet, one purse, one card holder, lip gloss and wet tissue, water bottle, milk bottle and a gee gee for my little boy.

so many things fit in a bag, no wonder i get sore shoulder every time i carry a bag. perhaps can get my friend to get it for me. it's from neiman marcus online.

what is behind a blog?

what does it take to build a website that attracts people? more specifically, a blog that makes people want to read you all the time. of course, a blog with interesting blog content people loves to read about. but the most important factor is still a website that looks presentable and attractive. a blog with too many fluorescent color bling blings here and there is a huge turn off, for me at least.
it's very important to know how to build a website that leaves an impression on your new reader. simple and neat can never go wrong.

if you're planning to start a website, it's good to know that the first three main things you need to get is a domain name, a good web design and most importantly a reliable and secure web hosting like such offered in http://www.webhostingchoice.com. once you're site is online, all you need to do is to upload your site with your desired content. sounds easy, but if you're not familiar with XHTML and CSS-P like me, it takes a while to get it up and running. so my advise is, get help from web host.

oh freak, it's monday!

it's a monday. the day most people dislike, especially me when i was a kid. i used to hate monday so much, i wished it never exist. i hate goin to school, i was good at nothin, both academically and in sports. not only kids, workin adults usually drag their feet to work on monday. it's like a routine is startin all over again for the next 5 days. 6 if you're really unlucky.

mum went home with little brother isaac. no wonder the kitchen is quite now. normally if mom is around, the mixer will be spinnin and there'll be somethin bakin in the oven. i always wake up to the nice smellin moist cake or butter cake. but mom is not around, so our lunch is as simple as it can be. porridge for the kids and noodle soup for us adults.

monday is always a good time, when all the reviews starts comin in. now i love monday. monday pls come more often. lookin at monday this way now, it's a countdown to a happy weekend.

it's been a few days since i did any new changes to my new blog. i've been very busy. no, it's not ready for viewing just yet. there are many things i need to sort out first. cannot imagine how i can manage to set up a new blog without the help of my wonderful cousin. she's been there to guide me through the setting and even did most the job for me.

life seems perfect there

this is what i saw. wow, so many gorgeous ladies bare it all to get the perfect tan outside their Hawaiian Beach Rentals chalets. perfect sunny day. the wind and wave was at its peak, good time to go surfing. that's what the boys did. by just looking at them in the cool icy water maeks my body freeze. that is crazy cold. but the boys looked like they are having so much fun doing it.

the seaside was packed with people of all colors, and size. chances are you will find people from every corner of the whole flock to one of the world's best tourist destination to chill out. that's why you'll see one Hawaii Travel Information within the 2 mile radius. just so many of them to guide the tourist to enjoy their time there in hawaii.

this tourist-friendly place has everything a tourist need. places to visit, places to shop, renting of jet-ski, surfing board, beach bike,Oahu vacation rentals like those chalets posh hotels or even service apartment.

who wants to come to hawaii with me. this movie makes me all excited about going there.

calling customers on VoIP saves you lots of money

my eldest sister, can i call her a world class business woman? she travels at the once or twice a month, to every corner of the world to meet with her business associate. she knows more people in three years than all people combined in my lifetime. she's a wonderful person with the most amazing 'talent' in closing deals.

that also mean she need to spend a lot of time on the phone calling people, her phone bill cost very high. no wonder she now make calls using the VoIP Call Center Phone Systems to save money on calling her customers abroad. we're talking about saying hundreds or probably thousand a month of cheap calls. she said the line is as clear as calling from a mobile phone, so she don't see a point on why not to fully utilise it. she's clever.

christmas at ikano power centre

this is the first time i've seen a real "jack-in-a-box". he was performin to the kids, jugglin the balls and such, when he saw me tryin to take a shot of him. he even asked the kids to pose for me. how sweet. he was standin in this huge box, playin with the kids. and when his time is up, he said goodbye and closes the box. of course, he has a secret passage to get out of the box. kids just love him so.

oh, if you want to catch "jack", he's performin at the ikano power centre. what time specifically, i have no idea. bring your kids there, they will sure love him. this is all part of a kids christmas carnival takin place there.

oh, there's a huge train goin about in the shoppin complex to if you want a ride. i mean your kids.

a fancy plate, anyone?

what's your trick to getting your children to eat? sometimes plain bowls and plates just bored them. see, when we were at the japanese restaurant, the kids fight over this tiny boat? and loving every food that is being served in there. what a good trick to make them eat.

i think i should go get a set of cute little bowl for the boys too. at least for marcus who takes forever to finish a bowl of rice. lets say 2 hours. isn't it ridiculous? hope that by getting them fancy plates and bowls will do the trick.

loving to read makes you brighter you know

hubs used to spend a couple of hundred a month on magazine. this is the thing about man and their love and passion for cars, watch, golf, and car. oh, did i already mention cars?? sorry. hubs love buying imported magazines from overseas as the contents are most detailed and up to date compare to the locally published ones. can't say he's wrong. you pay more to get more out of a magazine right.

after he's done reading it, he'll keep it. i don't really see a point of keeping old magazines as the content will be outdated by the time the next issue comes out. anyway, all his old magazines were long eaten by termites at his parents old home. see, the magazines has to go at last.
but i do agree reading magazines broaden our knowledge on certain issue, like a Denver Magazine, it provides local business, political and cultural buzz and even tourist to an insight on the city, every thing people wants to know about denver. cool.

a messy sandwich

oh shit, i've got another two reviews expiring in 10 minutes. how am i going to finish it? letting it expire will mean losing 10 dollars. between these two reviews, i got to sandwich another 4 post of my own in betweem, which mean 6 post in 10 minutes. how can i manage? i'll try. erm, ideas. please come to me. now. right now. i'm totally blank of what to write for now.

oh yeah, it's christmas. what about some christmas thing. be right back..

the huge blue theme christmas tree

if you ever been to sunway hotel, note this huge christmas tree in blue. isn't it just huge? look at the tiny boys against the huge tree. you see, the thing i love about going shoppin on weekdays is there's no crowd. i snap photos without havin people to excuse me "you're blockin my view or excuse me, i want to take photo. nah, forget shoppin at weekends.

this tree in blue, i love it.

a dream mom never go after

it's a total waste my mom is a housewife. she loves flowers for as long as i can remember. she attended flower arrangement classes just to make beautiful flower arrangement for the church on sunday. friends or relatives will come to her asking her to make them nice wedding bouquets and manage their wedding floral arrangement. my mum she got talent.

so i think if she were to pursue her dream of becoming a florist long long time ago, she would have been very a very successful business woman by now, earning big bucks. you know how wholesale flowers are really cheap if you know where to get them. like the ones FiftyFlowers.com. but no. she didn't go after her dream, because she has 7 children that needs her full time attention. she gave it up for the love for her kids. my mum, isn't she great?

this one is enormous

take a good look at this. do you know what it is? no, it's not pumpkin, but it does look like one isn't it. i bought this at the supermarket near my home, this is the biggest tomato i've seen in my life. if i were to slice it up, maybe i could serve it as one tomato dish for the entire family.
see, this is a normal sized tomato.

see the difference?

ronito, ronita!!

All You Need To Know About, “Ronito, Ronita!”

“Ronito, Ronita!” is adapted from Monito/Monita.

Monito Monita is a traditional Filipino Christmas gift giving activity among friends, colleagues, and peers. Rules may vary depending on what was agreed upon. The goal of this activity is to foster camaraderie and to be acquainted with other bloggers we have still not met. This will be done as participants will be assigned a blogger whom he has to send a wish or a prayer on Christmas via E-cards.

there's no such person as lady luck

kids in my home are just like every other kids in town. they grow up watching unlimited episode of disney channel on satellite television. maybe marcus and shern watched a little too much, just that. but they know just about single cartoon character on disney channel by name. jojo and his friends at jojo circus, noddy, thomas and friend, bob the builder has wendy, sagwa the siamese cat, and the most famous of them all is no doubt mickey mouse and friends. the only cartoon i grew up watching.

disney has a way to attract kids to them. first, the coloring contest and such, the answer some questions quiz and lots of other games for little kids to win a chance of a lifetime to travel to disneyland. i never had luck with contest, same with the rest of my family members. if the kids so wish to go to disneyland, we'll just get them Discount Disney Tickets online from orlandotickets than to stand no chance to win a contest.

do i need anymore tupperware?

tupperware, cool thing isn't it? it's quite pricey though, for at the end of the day, it is still plastic. moreover, because it's expensive, would you just chuck it away when it's stained and scratchy? eh, i don't know.

i have lots of it at home, and my latest addition is this new home starter set. my house or home is not even new by the way. my aunt, a tupperware's top saleswoman, got it for me for a pretty good deal. but i'm thinkin, do i need anymore tupperware. i already have more than enough. but still i bought it.

depression almost took his life

glad we didn't lose him. my uncle, he tried to commit suicide. he drank some poison, then he passed out. luckily his wife discovered him early and sent him straight to the government hospital. but the hospital intensive care unit was full, and he was placed there at the normal ward. his life was hanging by the thread, helpless, though he's right there at the hospital. is that crazy or what?

the only option left was to transfer him to another hospital, but because his condition was extemely critical, motionless and his face was as white as a paper. other private hospital refuse to accept him for they didn't want to bear the blame if they loses him. well, it was really a time of desperation. with no choice left in JB, we suggested that he must be sent over to Singapore for admission.

thank God that my sister managed to find a hospital,a doctor and a nurse through the internet to accompany him. The international journey took one and a half hour, and he finally made it there to the hospital. The medical fee for the doctor and nurse cost 3 thousand dollars! i reckon it's cheaper and faster to get an emergency air ambulance. If only we knew it exist.

It's always good to know these information, because at critical times, one second does matter. Don't assume by noting this down, it will bring back luck, ignorance is one huge mistake. Never let your loved ones slipped away just because you thought this won't happen to you.

I'm glad my uncle made it, he was diagnosed with depression, a condition he never thought he has. he's now on medication, he's one lucky fella.

if you must know, speed does matter

bummer!!

for two days in a row, i saw a grab bag at blogsvertise, but when i went ahead and grab it, it says "there is no grab bag"or grab bag is only limited to one a day. i know that, i haven't grab any what...

what a huge turn off... maybe i'm a little slow in grabbin it. ok, tomorrow must grab it fast. if it appears! because you know not every day you get to see one.

Aloha, Hawaii!

my ultimate dream is to be filthy rich. with riches comes a lot of access to privileges and luxurious life. i'm sure you'd agree with me. life as the rich and famous is never dull, it's also never a daily routine. their exciting life brings them everywhere, all over the world. fly to paris for the fashion week and spend half a million on shopping.

if i'm rich, i will go travelling with my family. to hawaii, the most talked about romantic place on earth. rent out a couple of Maui condos so we could stay comfortably by the beautiful sea to watch the sunset every evening. Chances are you might read one of the many Hawaiian travel blog that the main attraction of Hawaii is their incredible flora and fauna. In 2005 alone, tourist spend a total of 3.1 billion dollars holidaying there, there must be something worth seeing. Which is why it is so important that the government need to preserve its environmental friendly land and continue luring tourists from all over the world.

My pick of place to stay will be a place near to sea and greenery too. somewhere secluded and private, with my own outdoor jacuzzi. i don't mind paying for more to get the most luxurious Hawaiian Beach Rentals. like i said, if i'm rich...

mommy, i 'pillow fight' with you...

this is the one man that never failed to put a smile on my face. see how he's tryin to 'pillow-fight' with mommy.

you see, he knows no worries, he only knows that candy is tastier than chocolate, and cube cheese is nicer than slice cheese. just this evenin, almost nearin bedtime, he insisted on followin to the nearby shoppin complex for dinner with my mom and sister, so mommy give in.

::just don't tell daddy ok::

then, bang. he fell and got a huge bump on his forehead. a dinner and bump after, he's all happy to be home and off to bed he went. he can be sure tonight he'll be gettin a good night kiss from daddy.

trust me, life is miserable with bad credit

if you've never been in deep shit, you'll never know how hard it is when there's no help. worse if it's a financial problem, you'll see how your best friends all turned their backs to you one by one. even relatives find the most ridiculous excuse not to Loan you money. i've seen it all, when my daddy went bankrupt during the 90's. man, it was hard.

back then, there was no such thing as Consolidate Debt Loans, for as far as i'm concern, no one is willing to help a person with a bad credit. moreover, someone who's at the tip of bankruptcy. but now,
not only they offer advise for people close to bankruptcy, but they also provide consolidate debt loans to ease one's monthly financial obligations by offering easy and affordable payback amount in a certain period of time.

Even if you're looking for a Personal Loan to help with the repayment of your credit card debt, student loans, or other financial obligations, it is still possible to get a consolidate debt loan, something which is impossible 10 years ago.

hubs: i'm comin back home

home....i'm just too far, from where you are...

....and i missed you, you know..

yeah, hubs will be home in a while from thailand. i'm just so happy. you won't see me online, if you do, that's just me signed in, so don't even bother nudgin me ok. let me do a little catch up with my hubs, i haven't seen him for 4 days now. let see if he got me a souvenir, i say he didn't. anyway, just between us, he has no taste when it comes to buyin me gifts. i rather he gives me cash! hehee...

my idea of a fantastic holiday

Airasia is offering such a big bargain on their air tickets, and i really feel like booking a surprise trip to bangkok for my hubs and our little boy to spend our new year. my sister told me how those shopping complexes mushroomed over the year, and there are endless of retail store i can go, even at midnight.

and then, there's the chatuchak market where they sells souvenirs, decorative items, food and everything else under the sun. the weekend market contains more than 15 000 shops and stalls, has over 200 000 visitors each day, so count me in one of these weekends ok.

well, if hubs is too lazy to come shop with me, he can laze all day at our rented apartment, with our little boy of course. i'll be getting one of those luxurious Holiday apartments so my little boy won't be confine to just a tiny room, daddy can play tom and jerry chase with him while i shop. they can watch satellite television together or just put the barney dvd on play. call for room service at dinnertime when they're hungry, cos they can be sure i'll be shopping till midnight.

girls and handbags

handbags!

that's the one thing most talked about among girls. trust me, we don't talk about sex or even our crush that much. handbag tops it all.

one day, i heard that my sister bought a prada for herself, then another day, my cousin's boyfriend got her a LV handbag for her birthday. and me, last year, my hubs went to china and got me a handbag that looks almost like a cheongsam, with those butterfly buttons and all. i'll not be seen in those, but i do appreciate his thoughts of cheering me up with a souvenir from china. hubs, if you're reading this, they have at least nike everywhere you know.

girls and handbags, almost inseparable. even online, there's a hive where all the handbag shopaholics gather to check and chat about the hottest handbags in town.

if only hansen and gretel see this

christmas tree, they all look alike, no matter what lights and ornaments you decorate them with. green balls, blue lights, pink angels, gold bells whatever. only thing that differentiate them is some is awesome and some is fugly.

this bun decoration i saw in mid valley over the weekend caught my eyes, if not my heart. imagine isn't it. the decorations are by bread-talk, a famous bakery in town, and we're talkin about real buns and baguatte here. even the swing, if you did noticed, are bread swivels all across it. looks yummy like. no wonder hansen and gretel got caught by the old witch with the candy house. i'd be tempted too, if i'm as hungry as them.

has this got anything to do with feng shui?

sometimes our indifference can really drives me nut. i'm talking about none other than my beloved hubs. i have a very creative side of me, which i love to explore. i love to reposition my furniture now and then just like an interior designer. i also love to decorate my home with nice frames and beautiful things like martha stewart. i paint the house with color i adore.

my hubs, being the typical china man with no sense of decoration or whatever, cannot sit back and enjoy my hardwork. in fact he has to lecture me on how certain things affect the 'feng shui' in the house. feng shui is something i never believed in. so i don't care.

so if we're going to move to a bigger home in the future, be it designing Log Home Plans or Ranch House Plans, i can be sure he'll have the architect to design every corner of the house as feng shui worthy. in fact, there's a better idea. we can download any luxury home Plans we love from houseplansandmore. it comes with a detailed floor plans to help people visualize their new designer home. with a floor plan, the feng shui master can then evaluate the entire house to his heart's content, then leave me alone in peace for good.
isn't that just great?

it's not snowin, it's only rainin...

it's december. and it rains everyday come december...what a wet day everyday. the laundry is still wet, hangin by the rail. this time of the year, i always have the urge to rush out to the electrical store to grab a dryer. so that all the clothes would be dried to perfection. like a roast chicken is a 200 degree celcius oven.

i hate damp clothes, no crisps and no nice floral scent when you put it on.
but on thing i love most about december is this is the month my precious little angel came into our lives.

God's greatest blessin to all mankind, the little ones.

keep the love sparks, go honeymoon

now says who honeymoon is only for newlyweds? for me, i think a lovely couple who has been married for over thirty years can still go on a honeymoon. the most important thing is a relationship is that the couple is still very much in love. of course there need to be a lot of tolerance to make a relationship work.

when my little boy is a little older, i hope that my hubs will bring me on a honeymoon again. just the two of us. afterall, honeymoon is for couple, it's not a family affair. A lot of couples now opted for a simple memorable wedding in other people's land, some go as far as Jamaica and or in the Carribean for their dream destination weddings. Now that we're married, we can at least book one of the many all inclusive honeymoons package from Superclub.

when a marriage life gets too routine, especially after having kids, many couples tends to take each other for granted, and spend lesser quality time for themselves. that is how a relationship sparks wears off. i don't want that to happen. never. so i make a point to hubs that this family exist because we first love each other and that our love still matters. so let's go honeymoon, darlin.

the shopping cart that rocks

my eyes are lookin high up, at my cousin zee. first she ran a shopping spree. once, then twice, then three times and from there, she set up her own online boutique. it's only been a couple of months, all the hardwork and sleepless nights is finally seeing results. what impressed me most is the fact that she did everything herself, from the designing of the website to implementing all the ecommerce software. my! if only i'm half as good as her.

as if running a one man show on her online store is not stress enough, she told me few days ago that she just registered a domain to start a wholesale boutique. tell me if that is not a super multi-tasker. fantastic. as we were chatting, she told me she's looking for a shopping cart that has a better functionality that the one that her online store is currently using. i said to her, i reckon Ashop is good, she said impressive. for someone as good as her to say that, that shopping cart software sure rocks.

just go easy on it, kiddo

i figured if i go a little flexible on the parenting rule, i'll be a happy mommy with a happy son. so far, it works. sorry if you're a parent who is 102% against little kids eating whatever candy or sweets, then we sure are not sailing on the same wave. in my boat, my kid gets whatever candy he wants to eat, be it candy bar thanks million or door gift sweets. because i make sure he eats it moderately, not like a pooh bear.

everyone loves getting candy for him, even my sister will save the bridal shower candy bars for him when she attends a friend's bridal shower. i only need to make sure he brushes his teeth at least twice a day, more on a sweet tooth day. i just have to think how much i love sweets when i was little, and how adults are so against us taking sweets. so what we did was eat them too, but just that we lied saying we didn't. that's not very nice isn't it?

so me as a mother, i'm trying to let my kid explore things on his own and eat things kids love to eat. like i said, moderately. so if you want to offer my little boy a personalized kids candy bars, be my guest!

just go easy on it, kiddo.

the weekend with the swing and the fishin rod

i think i accomplished a lot this weekend, in the sense of spendin time with the little one. hubs wasn't around, so it's just between mommy and son and mommy's side of the family. on saturday, we went shopping then to the playground so the kids could go gaga over the slide and the swing. boy, they loved it so much they didn't want to go home. we went for steamboat again. steamboat. our favourite la.

today, we went to the park, fishin and picnic. my sister caught 9 fishes, big and small. we had it for dinner and it was the most delicious and delicate fish i ever taste in years.

this is a very happy face of my little sunshine.

by the look on his face, you know he had a great weekend, even without his daddy.

i'm dreaming of a white christmas

singing along to michael buble's christmas song.....

i'm dreaming of a white christmas....

and yes, i can only dream unless santa is very kind to drop me three plane tickets and a week of free stay at Aspens 1 , at the edge of the Whistler Blackcomb slopes for me and my family to spend our christmas. wait a minute, hubs could be my santa. who knows, he might love this idea too.

spending christmas day away in the snowy mountain is the most enjoyable because for one, the snow makes it all feels like christmas. and secondly, we could go skiing and our little one could play on the sleigh. and best of all, at Whistler lodging, there is wireless internet connection so i can stay back in the cozy lodge and blog to my heart's content.

oh santa hubby, please make my christmas wish come true. all i want this year is a white christmas. Holiday whistlers has the most amazing holiday ski package, i guarantee you'll be paying for the best price for the Whistler accommodation. Now can i go ahead to book the plane tickets?

oh my! template nightmares

oh, my! i'm just tryin to break my head. with my cousin, z doin 95% of my new blog setup, hosting and everything else, i still feel like i'm damn stupid. don't get too far, all i have to do is to choose a template,

but its been two days now, i still cannot decide on one that melts my heart. i mean, i just want a plain and simple one, with nice color combination of green, blue and orange. now, is that not plain and simple? ok, fine. not. you see, that's the problem.

my little boy calls it baby motorbike

on our last rally trip to kuantan, we saw two of these mini bikes and my little boy got all excited over it. he keep saying baby motorbike. well, the riders are no baby, they are adults. one of the rally team brought two units of their pocket bikes to the rally service park so that they can get to one place and the other within minutes. it saves time, as you know, in rallying every second counts.

there,
i was wondering where they got those cutie Pocket Bikes, the other one even look like one of those Mini Choppers. coolness. no matter where they bought it, i know i can find it online, and i did. apparently, it comes in either gas powered or electric bike, and it comes in all sizes too. talk about father and son on a motorbike adventure, or a ride at the park. when my little boy is a little older, hubs might even get one for him. believe me, he said he's going to get a go-cart for his precious son next year.

but i'm somehow against a three year old on a go-cart. moreover, my son. maybe when he's at least 5, i'll reconsider. but if hubs really want something he can play with, he should get himself
Super Pocket Bikes for now. after his ducati, he can handle this one like a toy.

from a hero to a sick cat

since his pneumonia episode, hubs has been the weakest link in this family. he can easily catch a cold if the air conditioner is a little too cold at night, followed by mild fever. the antibiotic he took was the culprit, it weakened his body and his immune system. just like what a sick cat looks like.

after he recovered from pneumonia, i've been boilin chicken soup with ginseng and bird nest for him, he also takes one multivitamin, one vitamin E and three colostrum tablets everyday. one would have thought that is more than enough to make him a strong man, because i thought so too.

imagine my surprise when he told me that he might need an appointment to see the doctor again. he hasn't been feeling his best even months after his pneumonia recovery.i'm not sure if it'll help if i get him some kratom, a type of botanically product from plants that possess healing properties. maybe on his next visit to the doctor's, i'll get the doctor's opinion on this.

my little boy and kiddy rides

what i love about my little boy in a kiddy ride is that he doesn't fuss over a stationery ride. he loves sittin in there, turnin the steerin right and left, make his own sound effect. boooom..boom...
if we ever insert a coin and suddenly the kiddy ride moves, he'll jump out right to my chest and hug me. what in the world is so freaky about a movin ride?

daddy once told me he freaks out over things that is not secured on the ground and that it moves, like a roller blade or a cable car hangin in the air. now, we know why.

when you're sick of sudoku, try playing poker

my aunt will be back to hanoi tomorrow afternoon. her hubs is on a 2 years contract, on some construction and development project. she told me how boring she is when her hubs goes to work. with no where to go shopping and no interesting places to visit, she usually just rot at home waiting for the clock to tick.

people rarely own a car, with the mega chaotic traffic, having a car is basically pointless. partly because the people there are too poor they can only afford motorcycle or a bicycle. her hubs has a motorcycle he rides to work. so imagine my poor boring auntie playing sudoku at home all day long.

she doesn't know how to use a computer, so imagine my surprise when she told me she sometimes play online betting to kill time. her hubs taught her how to get online to bet365.
she's only into playing poker, those interactive games and jackpot, not those sportsbook betting. time flies when she's occupied playing poker while waiting for her hubs to come home.

so you have a dot com huh?

yeah, i just got my very own domain too. what name? you'll have to wait and see. a very big thank you to my cousin zi, she's been a great tutor and help to me from buyin my domain and she's goin to guide me through settin it up. and also she has a webhost for me, totally free.

she did a great job runnin a one-man-show on her online boutique stylewithpassionz.com. you should really check it out. her website is just fantastic, you would have thought she has a team of 20 programmers and designers to back her up. but no. totally her own.

i cannot make up my mind on which blog template to choose from, just too many of them, each one is special and unique. i prefer a clean look, therefore i'm sure getting a white background. so questions asked. i think it'll be another month or so before i get this blog up and runnin. till then.

i need a fast, reliable and secure web host

i've been bloggin with blogger for almost 2 years now. it's free and easy to use. over this period of time, i've seen more and more bloggers moved to getting their own paid Personal Website Hosting. if you're familiar with the blogging scene, i'm sure you know getting a personal dot com is every blogger's dream.

i've been wanting to get my own dot com, but for now i'm still trying to find an interesting domain name. after all, i'll be stuck with it for quite sometime if not a lifetime.then there's another factor to consider too, like getting a fast, reliable and secure personal web hosting. i wonder if i need to get a
Business Website Hosting as i have plans to set up my own online store in my blog. i'm still having thoughts now.

take a good look at us

take a guess..which one is me?
when we were younger, we always must dress up the same. if mom were to buy us dresses in different color, we'll fight over it everyday. but my twin sis, bein the super fighter cock she was, must get the prettier of the dresses. the pinkish one, me the bloody red one.

heeeizz...those were the days. fun days.

from my little point of view

how different are we? i mean the asians and the westerners. for us asians, we prefer to live with our parents for as long as we can, even after having our own family with a bunch of kids. we seldom consider moving out of the parents house just like the westerners do once they graduate and starts working. the westerners love the freedom they get, provided that they are financially stable to support themselves. and then there are their parents, the elderly who lives alone or as a couple. and they seems to be doing great without their children by their side.

i've seen many english elderly people manage through their daily lives alone, take short trips to the supermarket, strolling at the gardens in the evening, go to church alone on a sunday morning, they live by without their children by their side. but then, there are also those who are too old and perhaps lonely ones who cannot manage to take care of themselves, so living in a nursing home is by far the best option.

with good facilities and good medical care staff, they are well taken care of. their children do not have to worry about them leaving alone at home, for most of these elderly living at nursing home is much happier living together with their old folks friends.
