All kids just love Nintendo

Don't they? I don't know about other parents, but I see harm when little kids gets no adult supervision when it comes to watching the television, or play computer games like 24/7. I'm not trying to sound like the perfect parent here, but I believe that kids will grow up into a person the way they are brought up. And here, watching too much television programs or playing long hours of Nintendo Wii can only mean that they're spending much lesser time learning academically.

My 6 year old nephew has a Nintendo DS Lite, but he knows well that he only gets to play it when I allow him to. Say, after he completes his school work and additional homework I gave him. As a reward, he gets his Nintendo DS Lite. With supervision, I can track his playing time and make sure that he doesn't get too attached to his games and not study at all.

I've seen kids who are so gadget-pro, but sadly that can only mean one thing. They do not excel academically. Having seen it all, I'd hope that I know how to deal with my son and my nephew.

loving to read makes you brighter you know

hubs used to spend a couple of hundred a month on magazine. this is the thing about man and their love and passion for cars, watch, golf,and car. oh, did i already mention cars?? sorry. hubs love buying imported magazines from overseas as the contents are most detailed and up to date compare to the locally published ones. can't say he's wrong. you pay more to get more out of a magazine right.

after he's done reading it, he'll keep it. i don't really see a point of keeping old magazines as the content will be outdated by the time the next issue comes out. anyway, all his old magazines were long eaten by termites at his parents old home. see, the magazines has to go at last.
but i do agree reading magazines broaden our knowledge on certain issue, like a Denver Magazine, it provides local business, political and cultural buzz and even tourist to an insight on the city, every thing people wants to know about denver. cool.

my cleanin mate in uk

i don't need a blasting mini theater, you hear me?

the last thing i need in this home is a mini home theater with a blasting surround sound system. as if the kids are not creating enough sound pollution here in the daytime, we have to get one complete set of hi-fi system to blast at night is it? remember, we have neighbors, very unfriendly neighbors. i know a mini theater is a good for family entertainment, but i can live with our Samsung television for now, until we can afford to sound proof a huge room to fit in a 72 inches Toshiba HDTV.

i don't fancy the idea of dumping all our cash money out just to own a humongous speaker as huge as i am, it's plain stupid if i may add. i would rather see the money goes to an education fund for our little boy.

bridging a virtual and a retail store

while i don't really mind watchin from a 10 years old television, my eldest sister thought we could do with a Toshiba 65 include LCD HDTV flat screen. well, she got a point. after a hard day at work, we come home to enjoy and relax. we deserved to treat ourselves with a little luxury now and then. as for a HDTV, maybe we're talking a lifespan of 10 years before we change it again. who knows that in ten years time, every home will come with a built-in mini treater. the answer is simple, the technology advances, everything is possible.

there are many reviews to read online when selecting a HDTV, to provide adequate information for potential buyers, if not to attract them. but it seems nearly impossible that customers will order or purchase a HDTV online. Reason being, as most of the time, we consumers want to physically view products of the same range, putting quality and pricing to the comparison. what about you? would you buy something without getting a feel of it first? my choice will still be a retail store not a virtual one.
