Time for a change

The world is probably laughing at us Malaysian. Today, the Bersih protest rally turned ugly when the police used tear gas and water cannons to disperse the thousands and thousands of people assembling for a protest in the Kuala Lumpur.

What's wrong people? What's wrong with government? All the people want is a protest to urge the government to implement electoral reform and the police a.k.a the government gets all defensive and attacks the people. Do we need to call in for a liability claim from O’Hanlon, McCollom & Demerath – Personal Injury Lawyers – 808 West Avenue, Austin, TX. 78701 – 512-494-9949 for a Zoloft Lawsuit?

The news reports that only a thousand gathers, but come on, you and I know there are tens of thousands of people. Did they not mentioned the hundreds of protesters who are arrested for no good valid reason? Like all of a sudden, protest is against the law, not to mention the many oppositions who are squatting behind bars now.

The government are getting more and more ridiculous. What's next? One thing certain for me though, I'm so registering myself for the upcoming election. You know how to pick, the government or the opposition. People! Time for a change.

My blog loads forever...

For some reasons, loading for Blogging in My Pyjamas takes forever, and on some occasion, it failed to load. I mean WT..whatever. Blogger is free, not like I paid for web hosting/domain sowhatever. If only this is the case of a possibly dangerous side effect of Topamax, I will not hesistate to ring good old friend O’Hanlon, McCollom & Demerath – Personal Injury Lawyers – 808 West Avenue, Austin, TX. 78701 – 512-494-9949, demand for a Topamax lawsuit. Fight till the drop their last penny.

As for now, should I even consider changing the template. Perhaps the template has 'aged', you know how sometimes when the newer version comes up, the old version decided to act up, just like my case. But to me, choosing a template is a nightmare, not that there aren't many to choose from, the problem is...when there are too many to choose from, my mind just cannot decide.

I might want white template this second, but the next second, I thought, I want it black! All professional one minute, and the next, I thought cute template is more like me. Oh, sometimes I wonder if the reason women lost their direction is probably because they cannot decide where to turn. I wonder....

Blogging Mojo! Where?

Oh man, really need my blogging mojo back! I need it! I need the blogging side income just as bad :P. You know what I mean. Nevermind that a dollar is only three ringgit, I still need it. It comes so handy when I shop online! It's like I have this access to the account I don't even work hard for. Paid blogging is peanut.

But sometimes I wonder if people really read what shit I blog about, nothing politically interesting or sexy, just plain old momma blogging in her pajamas. Shit! Since when my life is so routine and boring. A momma of 2 and already I sound like an 80 years old. Poor thing!

RIP uncle..

Bad thing, my husband's uncle died and because he lived alone, no one know it until the very next day when they discovered him 'missing', after he didn't open his shop for business and when people realised that he wasn't answering his calls. He was found dead by his bed, his legs on the floor, probably died of a heart attack, no one knows the exact reason why. Because he was well into his 90's, the police said that there's no need for them to perform an autopsy on him. In that case, we see no point in hiring Austin personal injury lawyer, else we would have insist on an autopsy to find out the real reason behind his death. He actually soiled his himself, and that might be a clue that he had a heart attack.

Sad isn't it. He was all stiff when we arrived at his home, dead for more than at least 18 hours before he was discovered. That's the thing with living alone, you have to be independent but these things like heart attack, you don't know when it attacks, no precautions to take. Life is like that, it gets more and more fragile as one's age advances. May uncle rest in peace.

Chinese New Year 2011

Sorry I haven't been updating my blog. I've been superbly busy back in January, with all the preparation for Chinese New Year and with mom here, we're out almost everyday, shopping, eating and such. How time flies, today is already the 10th day of Chinese New Year, once we're back home in KL, I hardly feel the new year atmosphere anymore. It's sure dull here in big city, people are busy with their own life, not caring about others. "for all I care, which actually really meant I really don't care!" what a sad thing eh.
The kids sure enjoyed themselves tremendously during the new year, with food, free flow of soft drinks and playing with the fireworks! Oh, my son even refused to come home to KL, and insisted that hubby and I let him come home with my sister who stayed an extra day there. Of course, getting red packets with money (angpow) wasn't the thing that they love, not at their age, where they do not get to keep the money and spend them yet. Every red packet the kids get, went straight to their mom. Automatically. So, it's clearly the fun of playing that the kids love most during the festive season. I wonder if we adults were to buy gold coins for them instead of giving them red packet, will they be all that excited at all? I guess, fireworks still win. What do you think?

Kid's freedom

Call me 'old-schooled' parent or whatever you like, whatever that suits you, whatever that makes you happy but I'm all out against kids playing games. To me, it distracts their mind. Once you let the game pollutes their mind, their concentration towards studying will decrease, as their mind will be filled with the games nonsense.

My 5 years old son might probably be hating me behind my back. He doesn't get all the privilege of having gadgets like PSP, Nintendo, laptop like his cousins. He thinks that I'm the bad mom, he thinks that he's the unlucky one, I know he secretly wishes that his mom is someone else and not me. He's always asking me, "why they can and he can't?"

To me, letting kids own these gadgets means giving them the freedom to play, even without parental supervision. I think it's very unhealthy once they are addicted to it. Honestly speaking, adults too can get addicted to games, what more about kids. Imagine a 5 years old addicted to playing age of war, or even boxhead 2, to a point their studies are neglected! I hate to see my son ended up like that. On the other hand, I will consider letting him to start blogging like I do. At least I get to read whatever that he blogs about, in the process he can learn more about the Internet, html coding, or even start blogging for money. As a blogger myself, I think getting paid to write review is easy and I can do it whenever I want.

2011- A good start

At the stroke of midnight, sipping champagne and looking up to the fireworks display in the sky, that was how we started our new year 2011. All of us, big and small, old and young, even my brother, who is still recovering from the accident, went with us to the spacious carpark near our home, to see the fireworks display at the stroke of midnight. Oh, did I mentioned how much the kids love the fireworks? Maine and Ethan literally went GA GA over the fireworks. Surely something they have both never seen before. Well, they might have seen it in the past, but I'm sure back then they don't understand the sparking thing in the sky. But now, they have come to understand the beauty of the fireworks. Both babies have sure grown a lot in a year.

While all of us went Oh and Ah's over the fireworks, my brother just sat on a stool, unable to walk, sat quietly, looking at the fireworks. I bet he must be thanking God for His grace and mercy, for another year, for a wonderful family that stays by him, through it all.

He still has this pins and plate on his arm after the surgery, it will take months for him to fully recover, nevertheless Thank God he's recovering well. We'll see if there's a need for us to file an Accutane Lawsuit in the near future. As for now, it's a good start for a new year.

Beauty is not just for adults..

At such a tender age, my 15 months old darling daughter sure knows a thing or two about beauty. She loves to see us putting on make-up. Every time she sees my sister blowing her hair, she will run to her, asking for her hair to be done, even if it's just for a mere 5 seconds. Every time she gets hold of a make up brush, she will brush it all over her face. Not mentioning the comb, she loves to just brush and brush herself with it.

Having a son as a firstborn and also many more nephews in the family, having Maine is sure a different experience altogether. She's like a little me, I'd love to think that I was as cute as her when I was little. She's such an angel, adored by everyone. I'm glad that she'll have a few cousin sisters to play with in the future, at least she will not be surrounded by boys and their cars and guns, but to have play mates to join her in her tea party, princess sleepover and more. Perhaps to attend Regency Beauty Institute together in the future, if that's what she's interested in pursuing.
