now readin: french kiss

this is the book im now readin and i enjoy it tremendously. here's what the story is about.

L.A. architect Nicole Lesdaux has just signed on to create a tree house for record producer Johnny Patrick's little girl, Jordi. The hunky single dad has given Nicky an unlimited budget—but she might have agreed to work for free, if it meant watching his sizzlingly sexy body by the pool every day...

But mixing business with pleasure is one of Nicky's no-nos—so she focuses on making this music mogul the Taj Mahal of tree houses. Until Johnny's ex-wife makes off to Paris with their daughter...

Since Nicky speaks the language, a desperate Johnny needs her help finding little Jordi. En route, sexual tensions run ever higher. Again and again, the two must fight back the urge to come together. And, as Nicky discovers, Johnny does know some French after all.

this is nuts

how to transport a baby in his/her stroller in the most creative way? don't bother to fold up the stroller if you're too lazy like this couple seen here.

we took this photo when we were in perth. it was drizzlin, but it sure didn't stop the parents to just drive around town with a baby snoorin away in the stroller back in the car boot.

but honestly, i think they're nuts. no parents in their right frame of mind will or can do what this couple just did.

one word. crazy!

i love PPP!

how much do you love to see the endless advertisements on tv. especially when you're so hooked to the drama that you're watching and suddenly the advertisements repeat itself so many times it makes your inside flip? yeah, apparently for me, lousy advertisement can really ruin a good reputation for a product.

alright, back to watching tv. i used to be so hooked on tv drama until i started blogging. which in my case, rewind 18 months ago. since then, i discovered the many pleasures of not just blogging but also reading other people's blog. some which i adores so much it makes it mandatory for me to visit it everyday. perhaps what every blog needs is a good author. like a bestseller book. only free.

but not until much later that i found out that people make money out of their blog through blog advertising. no wonder some people call 'blogger' a profession. then i got the point. simple, i can do it too. ::snap my fingers::

immediately, i signed up for payperpost and within 2 working days, my blog was approved. since then, i blog enough to pay for my nice handbag. this is not going to stop anytime soon, i'm happy my blog makes me money. extra money is always a good thing for a shopaholic like me.

A husband's Nightmare

A husbands nightmare...

A man came home from work and found his three children outside, still in their pajamas, playing in the mud, with empty food boxes and wrappers strewn all around the front yard. The door of his wife's car was open, as was the front door to the house and there was no sign of the dog.

Proceeding into the entry, he found an even bigger mess.

A lamp had been knocked over, and the throw rug was wadded against one wall. In the front room the TV was loudly blaring a cartoon channel, and the family room was strewn with toys and various items of clothing. In the kitchen, dishes filled the sink, breakfast food was spilled on the counter, the fridge door was open wide, dog food was spilled on the floor, a broken glass lay under the table, and a small pile of sand was spread by the back door .

He quickly headed up the stairs, stepping over toys and more piles of clothes, looking for his wife. He was worried she may be ill, or that something serious had happened.

He was met with a small trickle of water as it made its way out the bath room door. As he peered inside he found wet towels, scummy soap and more toys strewn over the floor. Miles of toilet paper lay in a heap and toothpaste had been smeared over the mirror and walls.

As he rushed to the bedroom, he found his wife still curled up in the bed in her pajamas, reading a novel. She looked up at him, smiled, and asked how his day went.

He looked at her bewildered and asked, "What happened here today?"

She again smiled and answered, "You know every day when you come home from work and you ask me what in the world did I do today?"

"Yes," was his incredulous reply.

She answered, "Well, today I didn't do it."

flip flops from china

flip flops, they are easy to wear, comfy, cheap and casual.

i bought 3 pairs of flip flops from the hypermarket this evenin. they sure are cheap, must be from china, anyone would have guess right.

then my b.i.l sent me this email with some yucky feets attached. i cannot clearly see the brand name of the flip flop, should i just chuck my new flip flops away?

this poor woman's feet is freakin me out. really, some heartless souls there in the mainland are so eager to make quick bucks, totally ignorin the safety rules to make things easier for them.

first the toys, then the food, now even their flip flops failed miserably. at this rate, china is so goin down for all we care.

hotel reservations

::sponsored post::

it's time of the year again. the holiday season is just a corner away. when i say the 'time of the year', i simply mean it's time to plan your holiday. no one likes a last minute planning because very often if not always, it always end up with your loved ones getting disappointed.

planning a holiday is not an easy task. more over if you're talking numbers. how you wish you can just hire a holiday planner that does all the planning for you and your family. but it sure will cost a lot to hire someone else to do it. why not do it yourself? easy peasy, a few clicks here and there, and you're almost there.

everything you need is just a click away. be it Hotel Reservations, flights ticket, car rental, vacation packages, and even vacation rentals. and did i also mention cruise? search for hotel anywhere in the world, from england to asia, you can find all you need. a five star hotel or a budget room, or the unforgettable golf destinations in some of the world's most pristine locations.

If you would like to check it out, hotelreservation.com is the place to go. right now, they are offering up to 70% discount. what's even better is that you get $20 rebate with a 3 nights booking, $50 with 8 nights and $100 rebate with a 12 nights booking.

i did a search on the hotels in perth, australia for our family up and coming holiday, and i found a room in sorento beach resort only cost $125.63 per night. the other good deal is that out of 7 nights stay, the last night is free of charge.

if you think this is not a good deal, i have no idea what is.

Why breast cancer is usually found near the armpit?

The leading cause of breast cancer is the use of anti-perspirant.

What? A concentration of toxins and leads to cell mutations,a.k.a.CANCER Yes, ANTI-PERSPIRANT. Most of the products out there are an anti-perspirant /deodorant combination, so go home and check. Deodorant is fine, anti-perspirant is not.

Here's why:- The human body has a few areas that it uses to purge toxins; behind the knees, behind the ears, groin area, and armpits. The toxins are purged in the form of perspiration. Anti-perspirant, as the name clearly indicates, prevents you from perspiring, thereby inhibiting the body from purging toxins from below the armpits. These toxins do not just magically disappear.

Instead, the body deposits them in the lymph nodes below the arms since it cannot sweat them out. Nearly all breast cancer tumors occur in the upper outside quadrant of the breast area. This is precisely where the lymph nodes are located.

Additionally, men are less likely (but not completely exempt) to develop breast cancer prompted by anti-perspirant usage because most of the anti-perspirant product is caught in their hair and is not directly applied to the skin. Women who apply anti-perspirant right after shaving increase the risk further because shaving causes almost imperceptible nicks in the skin which give the chemicals entrance into the body from the armpit area.

PLEASE pass this msg along to anyone you care about.

Breast cancer is becoming frighteningly common. This awareness may save lives.

The leading cause of breast cancer is the use of anti-perspirant.

In-laws

A couple drove down a country road for several miles, not saying a word. An
earlier discussion had led to an argument and neither of them wanted to concede their position. As they passed a barnyard of mules, goats, and pigs, the husband asked sarcastically, "Relatives of yours?"

"Yep," the wife replied, "In-laws."

Your cellphone can do this

4 THINGS YOU NEVER KNEW YOUR CELLPHONE COULD DO...

There are a few things that can be done in times of grave emergencies.

Your mobile phone can actually be a life saver or an emergency tool for survival. Check out the things that you can do with it:

*1* The emergency number worldwide for **Mobile** is 112 .

If you find yourself out of coverage area of your mobile network and there is an emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to establish the emergency number for you,and interestingly this number 112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked.

**Try it out**

*2* Have you locked your keys in the car? Does you car have remote key?

This may come in handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone. If you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home on their cell phone from your cell phone. Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away and if you can reach someone who has the other "remote" for your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk).

*It works fine! We tried it out and it unlocked our car over a cell phone!"*

*3*
Hidden battery power

Imagine your cell battery is very low, you are expecting an important call and you don't have a charger. Nokia instrument comes with a reserve battery. To activate, press the keys *3370# Your cell will restart with this reserve and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery. This reserve will get charged when you charge your cell next timme.

*4* How to disable a STOLEN mobile phone?

To check your mobile phone's serial number, key in the following digits on your phone:

* # 0 6 #

A 15 digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your handset. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. when your phone get stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them this code. They will then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally useless. You probably won't get your phone back, but at least you know that whoever stole it can't use/sell it either. If everybody does this, there would be no point in people stealing mobile phones.

The Silent Treatment

A man and his wife were having some problems at home and were giving each
other the silent treatment. Suddenly, the man realized that the next day, he would need his wife to wake him at 5:00 AM for an early morning business
flight. Not wanting to be the first to break the silence (and LOSE), he wrote on a piece of paper, "Please wake m e at 5:00 AM." He left it where he knew she would find it.

The next morning, the man woke up, only to discover it was 9:00 AM and he had missed his flight. Furious, he was about to go and see why his wife hadn't wakened him, when he noticed a piece of paper by the bed.

The paper said, "It is 5:00 AM. Wake up."

Men are not equipped for these kinds of contests.

God may have created man before woman, but there is always a rough draft
before the masterpiece.

Hercules owner Mr. Flynn says that Hercules Weight is natural and not induced by a bizarre diet: "I fed him normal food and he just grew".... and grew. and grew. and grew".

A husband read an article to his wife about how many words women use a day... 30,000 to a man's 15,000. The wife replied, "The reason has to be because we have to repeat everything to men...
The husband then turned to his wife and asked, "What?"

Someone please brew the coffee

A man and his wife were having an argument about who should brew the coffee each morning. The wife said, "You should do it, because you get up first, and then we don't have to wait as long to get our coffee." The husband said, " You are in charge of cooking around here and you should do it, because that is your job, and I can just wait for my coffee."

Wife replies, "No, you should do it, and besides, it is in the Bible that the man should do the coffee." Husband replies, "I can't believe that, show me." So she fetched the Bible, and opened the New Testament and showed him at the top of several pages, that it indeed says.......... "HEBREWS"
