Life as a mother

One of the most significant changes about being a mother to a newborn baby is the lack of sleep. Or rather, limited uninterrupted sleep. Gone were the days where I can sleep straight for a good 6 hours or without anyone waking me up for milk. But I guess that's normal. Increasing breast milk suppy

i really don't know what else works. I tried every remedy, from the papaya with pig's tail soup to the milkmaid tea, but none of the above seems to work magic on me, or may I say on my boobs. Seriously, this time throughout this confinement period, I never once experience breast engorgement. Not even once!And as a last straw, I finally bought fenugreek supplement. Another week to go!

If you haven't know, we Chinese are a bunch of very particular people, especially when it comes to the tradition of confinement. That is, a lot of do and don't after giving birth to a baby. Tiny little feet

Baby girl has the tiniest and cutest feet I've ever seen. Perhaps it's because amongst all the babies born in our family, she's the feminine one and also quite a tiny baby at birth.
